There are lots of lost and found items in the elementary and high school commons. You are welcome to come take a look to see if any of it belongs to you or your student. All items not claimed by May 28 will be donated.

Here is the link for the state track t-shirt order. Orders can be placed until Monday, May 18th at 10am MT. No late orders will be accepted. The team will pick the shirts up on our way to Omaha. Congratulations to the track kids on a stellar season. We are so proud of your dedication and efforts this year. Today at districts we had 19 personal bests which shows just how hard they worked this year. Congratulations to Jayla for qualifying for the state track meet in the High Jump and the 800m. She will compete in Omaha next weekend!

Congratulations to Jayla Paulsen!!! She broke the school record in the 800m today at district track running a 2:27.39. The previous record was set in 1992. Jayla also qualified for the state track meet in both the 800m and the high jump

On Tuesday, May 12th Kyle Brown, PA-C of Garden County Health Services and Natalie Mayer, PA-C of Sedgwick County Health Center will be offering FREE sports physicals for all students entering grades 8-12 at South Platte. The physical exam will be conducted at school during our normal school day. All students who will participate in athletic contests during the school year or participate in summer athletic camps/clinics need to have a physical examination prior to the activity.

Participation in this physical examination is optional. Parents may choose to have their student’s sports physical completed by a doctor of their choice, at parent’s expense.

Other school physical opportunities at local health care facilities will be shared when they come available.
