MAC Music Contest Updates!
Due to the road conditions and closures in the eastern part of our district, South Platte Schools will have a 10am start on Tuesday, March 26.
And just like that this sensational seniors speech career has come to an end. 6th place in POI and Humor for Dash Richards at the state speech tournament in Kearney on Friday. Way to go Dash!
Due to the anticipated winter storm, there will be NO SCHOOL at South Platte on Monday, March 25th. Quiz bowl and sports practices are cancelled as well. Stay safe!

Just call them the Fab 5! The speech team had a phenomenal day at districts. Dashle Richards was District Champion in humorous prose and Program Oral Interpretation (POI), Quinten Koenen was champion in Extemporaneous Speaking, Madison Johnson was runner up in Persuasive Speaking and 3rd in POI, Zaerihya Doncheske was 5th in Entertainment, and Josie Schneider 5th in Serious Prose. Additionally, they placed third as a team. Dash, Quinten, and Madi will all compete at the State Speech Championships next Friday in Kearney. Way to go, Knight Speechies!
