Adoptive Parents Program information.
High School Cross Country practice will start at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, August 7th. We will meet at the west end of the track.
The football season is quickly approaching. We will offer a 7-12th grade open football field, weights, and conditioning!!!! Monday, July 31st through Friday, August 4th at 7:30 each morning. This is not a mandatory event, but it will prove to be beneficial for those who attend.
Football practice will start on Monday, August 7th @ 7:30 am in the morning. Please make sure to have your physicals and forms submitted or available. Please see the attached schedule of our first TWO weeks of practice.
South Platte incoming 3rd- 6th graders!!!
We will have our youth football SIGN UP and parent meeting on Sunday, August 6th, @ 6:00 pm in the South Platte School commons area. If you can not attend but still want to join please make the proper arrangements. We must have the registration forms submitted by that evening. The South Platte Sport Physical Day is Friday, July 28th at Julesburg. We will take school transportation and leave the school at at 8:15am. Or you can meet us at the clinic at 8:30 Contact Mr. Brost (nbrost@southplatteschools.com) for transportation information by July 26th so we can plan accordingly!

On August 2, Panhandle Public Health District will host a Back To School Vaccination Clinic at South Platte from 11am-2pm for children up to age 18 and all vaccinations.
The South Platte School Board adopted a new cell phone and other electronic device policy for the 2023-24 school year.
A few things to note:
1 - 7-12 students must have phones off and in their lockers or left in their vehicles.
2 - Elementary students will turn their phones in to their teachers at the beginning of the day.
3 - Students who violate the policy will have their cell phones turned in to the office and administration will return the phone to the student's parent.

No 7-12th grade supervised weights next Monday (7/3) and Tuesday (7/4) to observe the 4th of July holiday. Weights will resume at 5pm Wednesday through Friday.
